Born about 4 centuries ago (in the 1600s) precisely in the convent of Santa Rosa (Amalfi), Sfogliatella is the queen of the Neapolitan breakfast. Even though nowadays sfogliatella is available in many pastry shops, there are only a few who still makes this product by hand. Because of the amount of time and labor needed, it is common for bakeries to buy them frozen and already filled. We are proud to say that our sfogliatella is 100% handmade!
